Maryland Career and Technical Administrators

The Maryland Career and Technical Administrators (MCTA) provide statewide planning and staff development services to local directors of career and technical education (CTE) to:

• Promote and advance CTE statewide

• Enhance and extend the knowledge and skills of CTE local directors, supervisors, and teachers

• Serve as an advocate and liaison with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Division of Career and College Readiness

• Assist new CTE local directors with orientation to the position.

MCTA is a chapter affiliate for the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE).
